How is the Nourishing Day Cream different to the Restorative Night Cream?

These two products contain many similar ingredients; however, the Nourishing Day Cream is slightly lighter and more suited to daytime use, underneath make-up. It contains some ingredients that are not found in the Restorative Night Cream such as Grapeseed Oil, which helps to enhance absorption of the cream, leaving the skin feeling hydrated without feeling greasy.

How long will it take your product to provide noticeable benefits?

This product does not contain collagen itself, but it may certainly help support its regrowth. The Nourishing Day Cream may help to reduce the visible signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles. It contains key ingredients that help to stimulate the growth of collagen, elastin and new skin cells, which help to produce firmer and visibly younger looking skin.

For added benefits and to support collagen production you may wish to incorporate our Skin Support, Omega 3 / DHA Premium Fish Oil and our Zupafood for Skin into your daily regime.

Is the Nourishing Day Cream suitable for use under makeup?

Yes, it is. Our Nourishing Day Cream has been formulated to help create a barrier to protect the skin against environmental pollution; therefore it may help to prevent makeup from clogging the pores. After applying the day cream, we recommend waiting a few minutes in order for it to penetrate into the skin before applying your make-up.

Why does my skin feel dryer than when I began using the Nourishing Day Cream about two weeks ago?

The best results are achieved from our products through long-term use and it may take some people a week or two to get used to the ingredients in the blend. If your skin has become accustomed to particular products, introducing our range may cause slight, temporary changes to your skin. This may occur especially if the products you have been using contain a majority of chemical ingredients, which upset the natural pH balance of the skin. Our products help the skin to find its own natural balance and as this occurs, it is possible that the skin may either feel dryer, or oilier, than usual. This should not remain for long; once the pH has become balanced, your skin should feel hydrated, supple and rejuvenated.

We encourage you to persevere with the Nourishing Day Cream; within two to three months you should notice some fantastic improvements to the tone, texture and firmness of the skin, as well as a reduction in the appearance of fine lines.

Does Kanapa™ skincare contain any mineral oils?

None of our products contain mineral oils. Mineral oils can clog the pores, interfere with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, and encourage break outs. We use nourishing plant based oils which nourish the skin without aggravating acne.
